Getting started

The distinctive feature of the AudioMagician is its easy user-friendly interface, and program usage is intuitive with few causes for difficulties. Here is the main window view:

Before you start the grabbing process:

  1. Insert CD Audio disk into your CD drive.
  2. If you have more than one CD drive select the appropriate device using the Device box.
  3. Select output format (MP3 or WAV) in the Action box.
  4. If you want to retrieve CD information (artist name, album, track titles and so on) from FreeDB click on the FreeDB Query button.
  5. Choose the tracks you want to grab (set checkmarks).
  6. After that just press the Grab button to start processing. In this case AudioMagician will use previously saved option set (MP3 encoder paramerers, ID3 tag settings, Files and FreeDB options). To change these options click on the Settings menu item.
