How to change MP3 encoder settings

To change MP3 encoder settings use "Settings\MP3 Encoder" menu command. It will display the following dialog box:

Use constant bitrateIf checked the constant bitrate for the MP3 files will be used. Otherwise MP3 files will be encoded with variable bitrate (VBR).
BitrateSelects bitrate value (in kbit/sec) for the constant bitrate mode. The higher value the better quality, and a high bitrate means bigger file size.
VBR QualityProvides a value from 0 to 9 which defines output quality for the variable bitrate mode. Zero represents the highest quality, and increases the overall encoding time.
Write VBR headerInstructs AudioMagician to save VBR header to the MP3 file. When using VBR mode, this header will allow MP3 players to determine the proper file length.
ModeSelects an output mode. Mono and Stereo are well known modes. In the Joint stereo mode, the encoder will make use of a correlation between both channels in order to achieve higher compression. This will enhance the quality of constant bitrate recordings, and reduce the size of variable bitrate recordings.
Generate CRCWhen checked, a CRC will be generated for each MP3 frame.
OriginalSets the "Original" flag in the MP3 file.
CopyrightedSets the "Copyrighted" flag in the MP3 file.
PrivateSets the "Private" flag in the MP3 file.
